    I also see a little difference in species. For example the cyrtopsis are really relax and have never tried to bite, unless of course when they had to receive some medicin. While the eques are really snapping already when you are just sitting before the glass of the enclosure and they are just right behind it.

    lol.... its funny because this is kind of my unhealthy view on MOST things.
    I expect the worst so that if it happens I am prepared, but if it doesnt I am pleasantly surprised.
    Lol in regard to other things in life it makes for quite a bit of stress though =/

    lol for garter snakes anyway.....
    Ive recieved bites from the eastern hogged nose snake in my area and also a small black racer that was OUT of CONTROL aggressive lol
    quite interesting. Lots of blood from the racer encounter but not as bad as I had thought it would be lol

    My wonderful James will strike from time to time. He latches on, and it feels like really poky velcro. He's so cute!!!!! He's also only 5 months old. I'm sure when he gets bigger it won't be as innocuous, but that is the cross I'll have to bear.

    Racer is actually a another name for "ticked off razorblade with scales"
