The marcianus female (the normal) is a nice, big girl - the mother of our Eskerina. Good to see the photos.

Lovely...Marina looks a little skinny in the neck...like Seeley...is she a problem eater? Or is that just the angle of the pic?

Yep...She's gorgeous...she reminds me of Cee Cee...their faces look so much alike! Rusty is darker though. I can't really tell by that pic of Marina, but I think Cee Cee is more the color of her.

Both girls were/are actually low on weight as they seem very low on bodyfat when handled. John had been convinced they were trying to brumate but it turns out they were gravid. Part of the concerns I mentioned in the other thread. They are both rather 'flat' at points of contact and the fact that Rusty looks thicker in her pic is because you are looking at the 'gravid' hindquarters. Both are eating for me so some of the strain will hopefully be lifted but I'm expecting to see slugs and stillborns rather than live snakies.
Marina has fed 3 times since she arrived and is definitely not fussy - she's had trout, salmon, pinkies and fluffs.
Rusty has had 2 meals of fish only - 2 small pieces of salmon the first time and a healthier amount the second time.
One thing to note is that they seem to be doing better apart for the time being. The 2' tank was definitely too small for the both of them.
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.
