    Slow Growth T.radix

Take a look at this very nice red male radix(Plains Garter Snake). See any problems?
He looks like a young under 1 year old young man, right?
Wrong. This male is almost 3 years old. He has grown very little since I received him from Ian in 2009.
He was a slow eater for awhile but since then he has been pounding down everything I offer.
I can't even say he's doubled in size since I got him.
Has anyone else had a snake like this. Is it fair to call him a runt?

I think he's just a lil' runt He's cute, though. I read something about male snakes that are smaller tend to be faster, and get the ladies more often. So, maybe his small size is actually a benefit?

I'd be interested to know the results. I'm sure with his beautiful colour, he could father some real pretty babies.
