    Concinnus sculpture

I have limited time so this will be a quick one, but I wanted to throw up a photo of a high red concinnus sculpture I finished last night! All clay, no paint! It is NFS

    Re: Concinnus sculpture

Thanks guys! Now that I have a moment to elaborate, this piece was a custom order... It was a lot of fun and I intend to make more thams like this! this is the first thamnophis piece I have officially done in my traditional clay-only style of work. The question is, what species should be next!? Steve, I can already hear you saying RADIX!!! When it is sitting on my desk it does look like a small adult escaped and curled up on my desk, I am quite happy with how it turned out. This piece was hand scaled, meaning each individual scale was formed by hand, one at a time. It is time consuming and makes my back hurt but it produces superior results.

Not even Steve could argue if you did a San Fran next. Think about the colouring you'd be working with.
