    mistaken identity

    guess what?
Sammy, my plains garter is actually a wandering garter
the truth has been growing on me since I've been hanging out here
so I checked with Scott and yes - she's a T. elegans vagrans

Oppsss....that's kind of funny, but good you were able to ID your snake. I've always liked T.elegans....very interesting garters.

It'll be like having a new snake! We all make the occasional mistake in identification from time to time.

    Re: mistaken identity

it was back when I got her and it just kind of stuck
    anyway
she's my absolutely favourite snake in terms of personality
and her colouring, while not flashy, is beautiful and indeed elegant
I'd love to get her a boyfriend
the portrait that was my last attempt at posting in the "digital image size" thread is of her, and there are some pics of her in my albums
