he obviously thought he could tell me to put him down... But I didn't listen... if he bit me I might though :P a little waste never hurt anybody I guess?

Well, if you want him to learn to tolerate handling, you shouldn't put him down for pooping or biting, it rewards that behaviour, and he'll keep doing that when he wants down.

My snake has a "meaner" way of telling my to put him down.

He's a little 6 inch flame baby, very calm. But when wants down, he just casually, turns, and gently bites me

"alright, I've 'nuff of this, it was fun and all, but CHOMP"
