Talking Charles Gave My Mom A "Present" :D

I was so happy today the Vet told me they could De-Worm Char for really cheap XD All I had to do was weigh him on a Kitchen Scale!

So I get him all out of his tank and ready to be weighed and I weighed him, all went well.

I took him off the scale and he was slithering all through my hands as happy as a snake ... But he stops. And all of the sudden out come a huge "present" all over the kitchen scale and the counter my Mom... Was speechless...

    IT WAS GREAT

I'm going to the Vet today, my local pet store recommended Panacur and they said they (My vet) would sell it to me for Char.

LOL Reminds me of cutting night crawlers on our kitchen bar while the kids were sitting right in front of me eating breakfast. I ended up getting sprayed with worm goo and the kids thought it was hilarious....

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

If only it were that easy around here. Vets won't do a dang thing without seeing the animal. This can run anywhere from $50 - $65 plus the cost of lab work for the fecal float which will suck your bank account dry. Not only that, if it's a garter snake, they can't see or treat it in the first place just because with the way the State law works, it's native wildlife. Doesn't seem to matter if it's a species/ssp. that occurs here or not.

All serious herpers/ keepers of WC snakes around here do it themselves. We have no other choice. Just as well I suppose. Saving a ton of money by doing so. Cost me less than $6 to treat all my WC snakes and I still have meds left over for any new arrivals that might come.

I'm good friends with the Vet's daughter and I talked with the vet and got Panacur today... Total cost for 3 syringes filled with the correct amount: $2.24!!! I think the syringes cost more than that haha!!
