Normal and Erythristic sirtalis, side by side!

Two of my beauties.... One will be moving to germany in June, while the other is here to stay!
It may sound really stupid, but I can't decide which one I like best.... Normal sirtalis can be so incredibly variable... Just amazing!

The little red girl was bred by Udo... Many thanks mate!!!

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

    both of them are beautiful
    I'd also have trouble deciding
the normal looks just like Sammy did when she was young, and she turned out to be a fantastic snake; she's also het. melanistic, and over the years she's lost her pattern, but retained those red spots on the side; here's a recent photo of her: http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/gene...tml#post157810

    Thanks!

I'm really liking the golden stripe and the low red on the sides. From parents that show no red at all!
