    Neat Little Sirtalis

Last summer a friend of mine caught a gravid garter (sirtalis) in central Indiana and kept her until she had the babies. Once she gave birth he brought them over for me to see and asked if I wanted any. I picked out a nice trio of olive colored babies. The male has turned out extremely nice and is pictured below. I still have his two sisters as well, but they are not nearly as colorful as this little guy. He has the nice peach color on his sides, and just above that he has a nice sky blue color which did not photograph well. Anyways, just wanted to show him off. All of his other siblings, as well as his mom, were released back where she was caught.

I'm not really into the look of most easterns but that one is very nice. I like it.

I might be inclined to trade for the right easterns this season.
