"Preparing For Second shed"
Lily's (and future snake's) new home
Today we finished work on Lily's new home
It's a bigger space, and is a double; so we have a home ready for our next snake (which is currently being used for storage).
It's an arboreal vivexotic viv that can be split into two with a centre shelf (which is what we've done).
Finishing touches and setup done today, and now she's all moved in.
Next bits will be to get a nice big brach in there, and some more hanging plants at the back. Getting moss tomorrow, and (hopefully) door locks on ebay.
Unfortunately, she was hiding and exploring when I took the pics, shy as usual.
Right now she's curled up in the coconut hide.

Very nice looking setup.
Should make for a happy scrub.

Thank you!
Moss, a silk orchid, a big branch and a new big hide were today's purchases.
I will try to get some pics tomorrow (she's currently hiding in the new hide), it looks so much nicer with the branch in.
Erin - Lily doesn't have a kid, but I'm hoping to be acquiring a new baby this year. Fingers crossed! Hopefully she'll let me take her photo tomorrow.

Re: Lily's (and future snake's) new home
Thanks! The joys of ebay. I picked up her first glass tank on there for £5, and it served us really well. But since she's getting longer now, I wanted to see about getting a bigger space for her. When I saw this one, I thought it was perfect since I want a second snake. Won it for £67, which I was pleased with. (Hubbie gets a bonus from work this month ) Instead of paying out the £25 ish that they charge for the dividing shelf, I got the board and we did it ourselves. I'm a big believer in DIY. And ebay

Yes, it's a ThermoControl II, made by Lucky Reptile. I got it at my local independent petstore.
This is their thermostats page:
Lucky Reptile - Products
On the box, it states it comes in German, French, UK, USA, Australian and Swiss plug options.
