Preferably not a juvenile but not an old adult. I would prefer the medium sized range or subadult, and preferably high red rather than a lot of black like many of them. This would be a fine example:



Lampropeltis triangulum gentilis

Might also be interested in any that are unusual or aberrant but still brilliantly colored.

I am posting now so anyone who finds these in the spring in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas, can keep their eye out and maybe get me specimen or two. Maybe trade for some garters. This subspecies is just never available as CB that I can find. At least, not in my area or at reasonable price.
