Around Ithaca we just got some rain, nothing serious. Hope all the NYC folks are ok.

Over here on the NY/CT border, we had about a half hour of heavy rain, then that was it. Kinda disappointing when they promised "nasty weather". I guess, NY city area and Long Island got it worse.

we got winds of about 100mph with haevy rain and hail the size of quaters..i wish i had taken pix but i was helping people cut trees and clean up the buildings..

I've just got a moment
it was an awesome and scary five minutes
I've never seen a sky that colour, and I've never experienced a storm of such violence that came and went so fast. I ran upstairs to close some windows when the first drops came down, and by the time I got to the first window, it was like someone was throwing buckets of water on the window screen and there already was a puddle.
I am thankful that it didn't come any closer. We have some huge trees nearby.

Glad everyone seems ok, I checked with a friend in Glenmont, OH and he said the tornado hit about 20 miles north!!
