Hanging with the Boys.

Friday night is a big fed night here on the Ranch. Everyone gets fed.
I cut up a large plate full of night crawlers for my boys(stud enclosure). They were waiting at the door as I opened it up. A few of them dived right into the dish but many of them came to me and demanded food. Some I picked up and put in the dish but many wanted hand fed. They gathered around the dish and waited. As my hand went into the dish they would jockey for position. I had trouble keeping up with the requests. These males had every opportunity to grab their own food but waited to be hand fed. I also played a second role at the food dish. I was the wiping towel. After many of them finished a worm they would wipe their mouth on my hand or arm. These males are getting more and more content with me. The more time I spend with them the calmer they get. My boys Midnite, Patch, Little Midnite, Spazz, Big Head, and many other were waiting to be hand fed, that's all progress in my eyes.
It is such a joy working with these guys. The newest member, Flash came up to me for the first time tonight. He's fresh out of quarantine and spending his first day with the other males. He's a red/orange male. He is of breeding age and should start work next Spring.
