Highs and lows of new albinos....

I recently acquired this new albino strain from Nebraska, was REALLY excited in acquiring it as it had some unusual markings on it. I was hopeful after it shed that the brownish markings would be retained but wasn't sure (markings could have been dirt or something else). All this being said, I had the snake for 5 days in my possession and then it passed away. Needless to say was really bummed out as I know everyone here is as enthusiastic about albino garters as I am. Here's some pics post mortem...

Sorry to here it passed away.

    That sucks Scott!

From purely a selfish eye catching point of view, that was an amazing animal, it almost looks like a glowing snow.

Yeah, that is different. I'm truly sorry that one didn't make it. I hope someone has or gets more of those.

Thanks everyone. I have told the family to keep an eye out for more as when there is one albino, there are often more to be found.

Hey Scott, not to steal the limelight or anything but i was wondering if you got a chance to see the wild anery concinnus I found. I sent a pair of them to Shannon. What do you think of these? I think they are "neato". Pics here: http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/show...nery+concinnus
