    Breeding Loans

I was wondering if you guys send out breeding loans much with your garters? I have heard a lot of people doing it on a green tree python forum I'm apart of. What are your thoughts?

    Side note:
Does anyone want to do it with Puget's next year or whenever the females are ready? I have an eager male and female, well I will see how she does this year

I have had a couple loaner males(radixes) but drove and picked them up.
I think the risk is too great if they have to be shipped, then shipped back.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

Even if I was a breeder- there's no way I am going to go to greater lengths to let some silly serpent get more play than me. uh uh not having it.

    Re: Breeding Loans

Right now I have a loaner male puget but he's from a local owner, unfortunately I've had him for about a month and haven't witnessed any breeding activity. Don't know if I'd ship 2 ways to get a "breeder", depends on how badly I want it, I guess.

I'd be willing to ship an extra female, if I had one
