    Very nice !Look in my pictures few years a go i had a male just like that ,but turn brown with age ...very nice looking snake this is ma goal the 3 strippes flame!!!..

    Just a high red eastern isn't it? I don't think they are all that uncommon.

    It's not extremely ultra rare, like an albino, but it's DEFINITELY not common! That whole snake is orange! If I found a snake like that I would be jumping up and down yelling.

    Wow. I had no idea. I guess then that ordinoides are truly under appreciated. You should see the one's that kids around here call "red racers". Pretty impressive.

    Sure, most of the time when you find one in summer, it's pretty plain, downright insignificant. In fact, I don't see any pics on google that even come close to some of the spectacular individuals that can be found. It just cements my resolve to fix that impression of them. I must go and take photo's (and maybe collect a few outstanding individuals) while they're breeding this spring. Their completely oblivious to my presence at that time.

    But yeah, after comparing, I noticed it's orange, not red, and it's all over!

    oh wait I found a pic. I think it's ordinoides, if not, it still shows what I mean. Plenty of them around here:
