    Codom Hypo marcianus news...

I have not seen a pic yet, but word is that there IS a "Super" form of the codom hypo checkered garter snakes. I'm still trying to get info, but it appears that the supers have a lighter head and body coloration. If I can get a pic, I'll post it....but since I'm not the one who bred them, I probably should leave details to that person.

It's frank of coldblooded novelties that produced them, he sent me some pics when they were first born, they don't look much different and it still has to be proven that they are supers and not just hypos with light colored heads... The One I got out of a bin of normals has the palest head I have ever seen! I don't think he's a super by any means!

Thanks for the info, SLB-that's pretty much what I heard. Next step is to mate the super to a normal and see if all the offspring come out hypo. I was talking to Rich at Reptile Basics, and he said the "Super" is pretty distinct when you see it side by side with the hypos.

I agree that one you picked up is pretty awesome in its own right!
