    Interesting pattern

I went to a good spot few weeks ago ,Close to Montreal .THe probleme is it became a snow dump on winter .In 2008 snow record on Montreal area ,same in 2009 .OH well THere was snow until august both year,in 2/5 of the site. All ditch are contaminated .salt ,gravel...They dump were we usually found only year born babies,so its the best you go there in september.IN 3 hard hours of herping I found just one garter snake and one brown snake Storeria dekayi d.ONe nice garter snake.

look the checkered pattern in join in the middle it makes butterfly. It cut the vertebral strippe it almost a constant pattern on ver 1/3 of her body
.MY friend had one just like her even more ,caught at the same place .Hope to have a pair ,I have a female ,pretty sure. Its not terrible but just interesting.

    very nice
I've seen this pattern on more dull-coloured easterns; on this snake it's really striking

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.
