Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
I'm not sure if this is an okay post to make (please go ahead and delete if it isn't). I just wanted to let anyone who's looked at my ad already know that I've added a couple of pictures as well as my location. For some reason, I'd thought my location was already listed and apparently, I'd completely forgotten about it. Oops!

Re: Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
Just made another small change. I lowered the price a little bit and yes, I am still willing to negotiate. The only thing I can't negotiate on is how the snake gets to you. It has to be pick-up only, as I don't have access to any shipping company that will ship live animals.

Re: Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
I'm just going to keep this question in this thread since people are apparently looking at it. I've noticed that there are quite a large number of views on my ad, yet no actual contact has been made that I can see. Is it the fact that I can't ship? Is it the price I'm asking? If it's the price, I've said that I am willing to negotiate price. If it's just that no one is interested in buying the snake and everything else I'm selling with her, then it doesn't make sense that the ad has been viewed so many times.

People are probably just not interested in your ad at the moment just have patients(spelling?)

I am not obsessed....
Re: Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
It's probably because you can't ship. Only so many people on here live close enough to pick up.

Re: Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
Then I might as well take my ad down, hm? Because like I've said, I don't have access to any company that deals with shipping reptiles. I'm also quite iffy about it anyway with the weather being as warm as it is.

Re: Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
It's been removed, as it seems rather pointless to keep it up when, after 118 views, I haven't received a single message showing interest in the snake. I'll just have to look into other ways of finding her a new home.

Chances are you've already thought of this, but... Have you tried Craigslist?
Also, if you feel like taking a trip all the way up to Berkeley, I know that the East Bay Vivarium at least sometimes accepts unwanted reptiles for re-homing. I don't think they'll *pay* you for her - in fact they may charge you a fee for feeding and care if they think it will take them a long time to re-home her (I overheard them quote something like $200 to a guy a few weeks ago, but I think he was trying to get rid of a sizable boid). But, if you're unable to find your gal a new home any other way, you might consider giving them a call.
(Please note this shouldn't be taken as any particular endorsement of EBV. I've bought supplies and plenty of feeder rodents from them over the years, but otherwise have no experience with their live stock or feeding/care.)

Re: Changes made to my ad in the classifieds
Can I ask what you were offering? I'm afraid I just don't make it to the classifieds often as I'm not really looking for anything, but still have friends and family in the Monterey area and could possibly make the drive down, likely in late July, though.

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.
