    27 year old Dekayi

When I was in high school our home team was "Bradford Braves" and as an art project several students (myself included) carved a totem pole that was placed in the front lawn of the school.

About a year after it was put up, kids from a rival team chopped down the totem pole and stole it.

Not so long ago, the totem pole appeared in someones front yard where it remains to this day.

My carving on the pole was a Dekayi wrapped around the pole. I stopped a couple days ago and took some pictures of it.

The years have taken their toll on the wood, but my Dekayi is still clearly visible, here it is.

    That was nothing really.

We did a full wall mural in the cafeteria, it was there for 25 years when the school painted over it with flat white.

Luckily, my oldest daughter had already graduated before they removed it.

It was that depiction of the thanksgiving dinner with pilgrims and Indians eating together.

Cool story, wonder if the owners know the story behind it?

I would have to imagine that since the "new" owner is the adult version of the "boy" who stole it, YES

By the looks of the decay (No pun intended) it was left lying on the ground behind the shed for a very long time before he decided to stand it up in the front yard.
