    Unhappy Hello...New here...

Hi all I found your forum doing a search bc I found a baby garter in my basement...I am in Sioux Falls, SD, and its cold this time of year. Its an old basement, and theres still dirt under stairs, cracks in foundation...ayway he also had damage so I think one of my cats got to him before I did. Anyway he ended up dying today...very sudden, and I was DEVASTATED. I cried...I REALLY like the guy! I even ran out and bought snake bedding and a heat pad...not cheep. I feel like I totally messed something up and FAILED the little guy....I'm a snake killer...

Hi Heather, and welcome to the forum!
I'm sorry to hear about the snake, but I read your other thread..... you're certainly not a snake killer! You did all you could to save a little snake that was dying anyway. Good to have you here.
    James.

If you decide to try again Heather, have a read through this....

It will give you the basic information you need to get started. In the case of this little guy, I doubt there was much you could have done.

Hi Heather, sounds like you did a great job trying to save the little guy.
They are so easy to fall in love with.
I BET you'll have another one or two soon
    They are also addicting!
