Corn on the loose!
Well... Today was feeding day for the corns.
I generally leave them on the living room floor and have my ma watch them while they eat. Apparently, she went to the bathroom while I was in the basement, so now we have a missing corn on the loose. x.x
We couldn't have left them alone for 5 minutes. We've cut open the furniture in the living room but nothing. I've checked up and down, no sign. I'm willing to go to the endth degree to find this snake. She has a mouse in her so food isn't an issue. My friend suggested putting a few strips of tape on the floor to snag her if she moves about. Will this work? Will leaving out a dead mouse attract her? Obviously she's not gonna be interested in food for a bit, but is it worth a shot?

As always, I advise against using tape. It has the potential to cause serious injury.
Food might work, but I'd imagine it's less likely than usual.

I've suggested the flour/sand trick, we're gonna see how we could try to make that work, seeing as we have carpeting. x.x

use a sifter and spread a fairly even coat, thick enough that you can track in it with your finger
do not use the tape - the potential for fatal injury is too great
good luck
and when you're looking, don't forget to look up

Re: Corn on the loose!
Seems like you have a pretty good mom!
Mine would have never let me keep a snake let only cut up the furniture.
Hope you find it.

Water will always be attractive, Kyle, especially in the relatively dry environment of a house.
Dish of water, hide, and a heat source...... and loads of patience. Good luck.

I'll try the water dish. I have a pretty big one I use for the outdoor pen; should I put it in the living room or near the dog's food/water dish?
