    Canadian Breeders/Vendors?

It's really frustrating seeing some of the fantastic species and morphs that many of you on the site are producing. Unfortunately, I can't seem to track down any Canadian breeders who are producing morphs or non-Canadian species.

Is anyone out there doing so?

If not, is anyone out there making a shipment to Canada that I could piggyback on for one of your bright red, solid black, solid white (not albino), or blue or more interesting thamnophis morph?

    PLEASE???

would we not be able to get some up from the US? Thamnophis certainly isn't a CITES genus.

I'd likely be interested in what you're stock is able to produce. Do you have any photos?

I feel your pain. Have had those thoughts too.

I gather there's risks involved dealing with people along the way between the US and Canada who don't deal with this often, and don't know what they're doing. Like, say, having your baby snakes stuck in customs for 3 weeks while various morons try to figure out what paperwork may or may not need to be done. And paying these people extra to sit around scratching their heads while the snakes die of excess heat/cold/lack of water/dampness/escape/etc.

Might do better driving across the line and bringing them across in person... assuming you have the time for that. And figure out the paperwork ahead of time yourself.

How to find people to help you along the way? I dunno. I don't understand why it isn't simple and happen all the time.

There is only one guy to deal with when it comes to Thamnophis in Canada.

    You know who he is

ha ha ha! funny seeing you on here

I sure do know who to deal with, but it seems I might be shut out this year.

Some of the morphs that guys are producing (a bunch of people in Europe as well as our American friends Don Feltzer - don't know if he posts on here or not - et al) are unreal. I really enjoy seeing the photos that people on the site produce.

I just wish I could see them in person!
