new baby girl

while fallowing my brother when he was mowing the field i found a baby snake(girl). i put her in with the litter of babies and i was planning on letting all of them go together..... but..... well she's different than the rest of them and a tiny bit bigger.... and she sticks out in the large group of darker babies..... and well i started to call her stripe, and i watched her first shed...... and i think she's going to stay with me now i need an unrelated girl for my male anyway...... and i'm not planning on breeding on my own for at least 2 years..... so she's the perfect fit she has a bold stripe(hense her nickname) and bright checks....... i'll post pics as soon as i find my camera..... but she needs a name so if anyone can think of a good one it would be GREATLY appreciated

But why do you need a new name for her? "Stripe" is fine if that's what you've already started calling her. I find the first things that pop into your head are usually the best to stick with.

would it be ok to put her in a 2.5 gallon glass cage till she gets a bit bigger???? she'll be out of it by spring but i'm going to try and keep her active all winter

A 2.5 is tiny. They have 10 gallon tanks at wal mart for ten bucks, make a cover for it.
