    Breeding your own feeder fish?

Just wondering if anyone here breeds their own guppies? I'm thinking of trying it out, but would like to know what all I need (aside from the obvious tank, filter, etc. which I already have.) I know adult guppies will eat the fry, but dunno how to go about keeping them alive 'til feeding. Besides, the adults are pretty to watch.

If you have the space you could try breeding tilapia (75 gallon fish tank). I've heard you can get a lot of large babies from Tilapia boutli.
**EDIT- The reason for suggesting larger fish is that the adults would provide parental care for the young as opposed to eating them; when the young are large enough to both leave the "nest", coincidentally, they're large enough for garter food.

We definitely don't have room for such a large tank at the moment, which was my other reason for choosing the guppies. I did a google search and found out all I needed to know of feeder guppy breeding. Thanks!

Please share what you found. I am planning to set up a guppy farm.
