I'm also a member of the forum on PangeaReptile.com, but the snake owners there seem to be more into the larger varieties and since I only have a garter (so far), I thought I'd join up here as well. Seems like a pretty good forum so far, but I haven't looked around too much yet.

I agree with James!! Who needs larger stuff. *shrugs* Just stick to the garters. They have plenty of variety and I can assure you, you won't become bored! Like you will with corns and balls.

Welcome, finald! Nice you found us. Yeah, we're a wee bit biased on the garters. Furshure!

I hope you wander around and read some posts - recent and not so recent - and I think you'll find that folks generally 'get into' their garters more than the "big" folks. I, personally, think it's because garters are more inquisitive and 'curious' than your general run-o'the-mill snake. They're a 'peppier' snake vs. a nocternal snake and have GREAT species chararistics that make them so endearing and loveable.
