milksnake found in Prospect Park

I didn't have my camera with it, but I saw it

it's at the rescue and Sean is awaiting word as to whether it's going to go back where it was found, or else place
much of it depends on where in the park it was found
if it is in a restricted area, it would be relatively safe and there might be more of a population even
I believe it was found by workers
it's a sweet little snake

sorry - the poor little guy is in a critter keeper in front of a bunch of pet supplies and I didn't want to handle him and get my awful human smell all over him, so it's not the greatest photo, but here it is

of course it could also be a released pet
unfortunately they're not legal to own here
