ok i would say thats definately got Red tail in it but as for it being pure red tail its hard to tell, what your looking for in a pure red tail is thje circles on its back joining all the way down its back looking at your guy there hes definately got red tail there but i would say hes bloodline may have been compromised

look at that link, and see if the pattern matches i.e. circles joining correctly (i still cant find my glasses so im afraid im squinting slightly at your pictures), dont worry about the colouring.
If your maybe thinking its a salmon boa then the markings should be looking like this link

I think myself (bearing in mind i have no idea where my specs are that you have yourself a pastel red tail boa like this link

let me know what you think when you have a closer look at the pictures
    hope that helps

Pastel? Salmon? See, this is what happens when you 'mix and match'. This poor snake will be judged (and valued) by the title it can claim.

sorry James i think i was doing that thing again where i wasnt making any sense, If its a pastel Boa as i think it is then its just a Red tail morph, pure bred, but bred to be paler than other red tails.
