    Tessy Update +1

So Tessy is doing great, she is eating (live... still working on F/T with constant failure..) and from what I can tell getting ready for her first shed. She is tolorating (cough cough James ) handeling, and as you can see by the photos is tolorating a new buddy. I am keeping them in seperate enclosures now however would eventually like to house them together. Any thoughts on this?? I am going to have my friend build me a very large enclosure right on the back wall of my living room! I cant wait... I will send photos of the progress.

The new snake is nameless because I do not know it it is a boy or girl. I suspect it is about 4 1/2 months old. Who knows maybe in a couple/few years I might get a surprise!!

She/he is eating F/T like a champ!! So thats pretty cool.

Ton of other pics on my spaces account if you want to see... Link is in my sig.

keep it up dashnu, you will be get her feeding f/t eventually
as for housing them together i dont see why you should have any problems with it. introduce them for short periods of time and leave them alone, make sure the viv they are in is big enough so if they dont want to be near each other they dont have to be. Many people successfully keep pythons and even Boas together. the main thing is introduce them SLOWLY over a period of a few weeks leaving them together for short periods extending the time as you go along.
when you think they are fine with each other introduce them to the viv at the same time making sure it has the scent of neither snake and that they have been fed, they are more docile and more accepting after a good meal .
    good luck with it
those little guys are looking great btw

I agree you should be able to house them together-- they seem to be very comfortable with their own kind. Mine stay entertwined almost all of the time! And if one moves across the tank, the other soon follows!

They're both very pretty Brett! (Unless the new one is a boy. Then he's very handsome. LOL)

Im afraid that varies from snake to snake my Ball/Royal goes maybe once a week or can wait for up to 3 weeks. ive known some that are awkward and go every month and excrete when they shed making examining the skin kind of nasty.
How long have you had them now?

It's usually a direct correlation with feeding.... they eat, a few days later they poop..... no eating, no pooping.
