Intorducing the new member of the family.

This is Beltane, our new Boa she is an 07. very placid to say she is a youngster (which wasnt the case for her previous owner).
she's already eaten a pinky (i had to make sure she was eating), but she wasnt eating for her last owner.

we are real suckers for the ones that dont seem to do so well, but already she is showing great promise.

thanks Gregmonsta, we love her already.

I hope so too James, just dont know why i keep getting hard done by reptiles and amphibians. just yesterday i got a Albino Pacman frog because its tank mate had died due to his needs not being met (food and water). guess im gonna have to stay away from reptile stores that i know are poorly run. I keep spending all my money on hard luck cases

She's just beautiful, Jeannette! I'm glad she's in a good home now. I'd really like to have such a large snake one day. :-)

Thanks Lori P, we just couldnt refuse her. in my experiance big snakes arnt much different in so far as to say care (obviously taking into account variables of heat)
only thing is when you know you are getting a big snake you do have to be aware that this is a snake that is potentially dangerous, even fatal. Just make sure when they are adult you dont handle them when you are on your own. Hope you get your big snake one day and show us all the beauty that you choose.

Thanks Sid she is a darling

Very nice. Someday I will have one, but not right now. Just dont really have room, although I'm sure sooner or later someone will give me one.
Thats how I got my ball python.

    Nice new addition!
I'm always glad to see an animal taken from a rough situation and given a good home-- best wishes that she thrives in your care!
