    Re: genetics question

    this is my understanding:
in both cases you may end up with some axanthics
in the first case, I think your chances would be 50%
    in the second 25%
    those are the statistical chances
your real numbers will likely be different

two hets will make 25% axanthic and the rest will be 100% het for axantic and i think the second one would be 50% hets

    Re: genetics question

    no, i have it now.
if I breed het. axantic X het. axanthic I would get 25% axanthic 25% normal
    and 50 % het. axanthic.
if I breed a het. axanthic to a normal animal I would get 25% het. axanthic and the rest are normal animals.

co-dominant meens that 2 genes are both dominant, and then the young have both collors.

    for instance:
you have 1 red flower en 1 white flower, when you ''breed'' them, you get a pink flower.

sorry for the bad english, it's difficult to explain

no idea if snow is co-dominant, I'm not really into morphs (yet)

    Re: genetics question

Indeed, Co-dominant is like the snow morph (in leopardgeckos that is...)
Co-dominant means that animals can be visual carriers of a gene, without having both alleles.
Ussually, there is a super form (like in leopardgeckos again, the 'supersnow')
If you breed two co- dominant animals together, you will get 25% 'superform' 50 % co-dom en 25 % normals. Just like in the recessive business. Just a bit different.

What Jerom is talking about, white flower X red flower = orange flower is incomplete dominance.
