    The new Mojave Rattlesnake

This is the one I picked up Tuesday @ Sonoma Reptile Rescue. This one has anger managment problem so it was hard to get a pic of it. It is settling in good with the females for burmation.

    Bonus pics.
This is a super hypo Northern Pacific Rattlesnake born eariler this year. It is still in its yellow phase, should turn green by next year. The only black on this one is on its prebutton.

Last years has turned green already. Last years offspring, has blacking on its tail

AWWW. They are very pretty snakes. The venom composition really makes me nervous though. From what I hear, crofab only neutralizes the hemotoxic effects. Be careful. Those glands on the scutes look really big.

Are the glands in his cheeks? Because he has big cheeks! :-)

Very impressive snakes, Jerry, but not sure a rattler with anger management issues is such a great pet... lol... be careful!!!

Nice looking snakes! That Mojave looks like he has a bad attitude! Funny how they can have such expression! Just be careful trying to deal with that attitude........

Probly! That is one of my favorite places to herp! Hwy 247 between Lucerne Valley & Barstow. This year had less than an inch of rain, so herping was not too good.

This is my wife with a speckled rattlesnake she found in Lucerne Valley

this one we found by the Slash X Ranch

This is my personal favorite snake, Coachwhip, I caught one morning just below Sidewinder Mountain.
