    Hey!

    Hello all,

    Glad to be here. Have just got 2 garter snakes. Never had snakes before but have read up loads on the garters and so am preety sure i can give them a good home, although that desnt mean iwont be needing loads of help .

    Will be good to get to know you all.

    Thamnophis marcianus . They are the Chequered garter snakes. They are quite young still but one of them is eating pinkies. I havent seen the other one eat one yet as i only got them 2day. I have split them up though and put a pinkie in the tank for the female so the other one doesnt have another meal

    Nice species choice, Joe. I also have T. marcianus. Some of our members have albino Checkereds, mine are normal colour though. Are yours normal or albino?

    Just the normal type not albino.

    Welcome to the forum. I also have some marcianus, 1 normal colored and 1 albino. Very fun snakes, enjoy them.
