Last snakes of the year

With snow in the forecast and temps well below freezing, I'm betting the DOR radix I saw yesterday, Nov 6, was the last snake of the season here in central Iowa, central USA. We found a brown snake (Storeria) on the farm Nov 4 and a red-sided Nov 3. Fox snakes have been under for a couple weeks. This week day time high temps have been around 60F, lows around freezing.

Spring is right around the corner, granted it's a big corner
