I think once that initial shed is complete you can remove the paper towel but it might be wise to give them a moist area to go to if they want.
See if you can find some small slugs for them.

I had luck getting mine to eat small pcs of earthworm from the yard. I believe they were rosy tipped worms. I might would release them where you found the mom cause it's gonna be hard to find a constant supply of food for them.

I know it's hard cause they're so dang cute and you want the best for them, but sometimes we just have to let them go.

Dang they are too cute. What is the length of the mother? Was there a reasonable girth difference once all the babies popped out? Having to let them go will definitely be very difficult. I'm not sure if this would work, but snails might be easier to find especially the bigger ones... maybe finding those and breaking it open for them and cutting them up if you have to. I haven't tried this though. I've only read that they have special teeth to get snails out of their shells, I'm sure babies can do that though(so probably you'll have to break the snails out).

i know a good spot for snails, ill try it ty. i didnt measure her, she is medium sized maybe 9 inches off the top of my head. had 11 babies at 3 inches each (3 were stillborn). Since i have had her i never noticed her size get substantially bigger thats why i never knew she was gravid, but now that shes popped shes a skinny little shoe string lol. she has eaten for me which is good.
