    Thamnophis radix

This is my fist time keeping Garters as pets and not feeders. After all the research I have fallen in love with Thamnophis radix. I don't know why but they are very simple but beautiful Garters. Just my opinion. I will get a 2014 C.B. Female Thamnophis radix next week and am extremely excited.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

Radix are fantastic snakes. I love my two. They're both a bit thick though compared to most of my others.

Yeah, garters are amazing. You will be happy with yours if you take good care of it!

"Thick" as in lacking intelligence. For example, my female radix tied herself in a perfect figure 8 knot when I took her out this evening. Not the brightest snake in the viv, but an endearing personality.

Chris, stop looking at the shed as if it's half empty.
    She sounds brilliant to me.
None of my radixes have ever done that, yet.
