Hi everyone has there ever been a case of two different species of garters cross breeding? like a checkered and a red-sided?

Oh I'm not going to. I just bought a checkered for my male albino checkered. But the pet store had it with a red-sided garter and they told me they might have mated. I really hope they didn't

Stupid, irresponsible pet shop. The fact that she may have mated with a different species (not even a different subspecies that intergrades in the wild) would have been enough for me to walk away. If she is gravid with hybrids what will you do?

I agree, but that doesn't mean they people are breeding hybrids.

If she is gravid I'll keep the lil scrubs it's not there fault they were born. But I'm not going to use them for breeding at all. I just hope that she's not.
