My first snake was a water snake. Not a very good snake for beginners but because of it, getting bit by snakes never seemed to bother me.

Not I. Always hated sweaters. Still do. But if it makes you feel any better Inge, my hair wasn't much different just 2 years earlier than the date of that picture.

The oldest picture I have of myself with a snake, shows me holding a WC CA King in 1983 right after we moved from WA to San Diego. Or rather, the snake was holding me. It was wrapped around my neck and holding on. Looked like I was wearing a necklace. I had just found it near the back porch and mom happened to be outside with a camera handy. Sadly, no pics of me with my garters before that.
If they exist, they're buried in my parents' crap somewhere.
