My name is Joe and this past Friday I caught what I think to be a Florida Blue Garter. I think it is a she and she is 22 inches long. I have her in a 20 gal tank with T-Rex jungle bed in it, a fake rock on the cool side for her to hide under, a big branch in the middle with a heat light over it and on the other side I have a large water bowl for her to submerge in. She has not snapped at me once, but she has become a little more jumpy. I tried feeding her gold fish by putting them in her water bowl, but she wouldn't even look at them so I tried worms. I gave her 4 worms on Sun. and she ate them all and was looking for more. On Mon. she was hovering over the worm dish again so I gave her 4 more worms and she ate all of them as well and was still looking for more. I just gave her the last 4 worms and she ate them and is still hovering over the dish looking for more. Any suggestions on feeding and anything else would be appreciate.

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum.
You might persuade her to take pink mice if you put them in the feeding bowl with a couple of worms, especially if you rub the worms all over the pinky first, to transfer the scent. It's best not to use Goldfish as food, they contain an enzyme called thiaminase which can cause serious problems over time. More information on that here;

My Florida Blue used to eat 6 crappie minnows or 2 pinkies twice a week.

Florida Blues get BIG... my girl was 48 inches long. You will need something bigger than a 20 long soon. I would suggest a 40 long or a 55.

If she love's the earthworms, you can practically trick her in eating other things by scenting it with the earthworm (like James said). For the frequence, I offer food 1x/week or 2x/week for young one's. And the quantity differs, if it's only fish, they can eat as much as they can take. If it's pinkies/rats, it depends on how big they are. But everybody has a different idea on the quantity and frequency of feeding
