    Hello from North Dakota

    Hello everyone! My boss and I happened upon who we now call "Steve" in a part of our building that is currently under construction. He got in under a door during a rain storm to find some shelter, and now he's living it up in a tank in my living room.

    I'm not sure what sex he is, we just started calling "him" Steve when we got him, and whether or not he is a she or she is a he or vice versa, we will probably continue to call him Steve. I don't know how old he is, but he's been through one shed about a month ago, and his eyes are clouding in preparation for his next shed. He's not completely used to being handled yet, but he doesn't complain about it either. He's approximately 21 inches long, and growing.

    I love him. I was wondering if you guys would be able to pin-down what exact breed he is.280762_10152104339785217_1322230938_o.jpg488384_10152016288745227_757148982_n.jpg603571_10152104400090217_1002418994_n.jpg

    Nice to have you on the forum.
    Looks like
    T.radix (Plains Garter Snake). A darker phase.
    Pretty broad head and thick body so I'm going with female (Stevie
    )
    I put a link in here so you can sex her yourself or at least see some of the photos need to have us do it for you.
    I will also supply a link to the forum care sheet. Very good read and should answer a lot of your question. Anything else can be posted to the forum.
    T.radix is an awesome snake although I am a bit bias.

    T.radix rocks!

    People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
