Hello, I am looking at getting a couple new garter snakes and would like to know where I would get them food in the Edmonton area? We used to catch minnows and frogs for the garter snakes but those places no longer have water. Any help would be appreciated.

Wild caught food especially frog and fish carry a huge parasite load.The safest and most convenient way would be to buy food online.I'm sure the Canadian and American members could recommend some websites for you

The snakes were wild caught and just kept for a short period of time then released back into the wild. Now I am getting some captive bred ones so will take all the advice I can get. Thanks
