    Iredescent belly scales??

I was holding my little boy a minute ago and admiring his beauty, when I realized where the light was shining on his belly, it looked all rainbowy and iredescent. Is that common for garters? Or maybe just t.p. orarius?

Steve you're the only one I know who has one of the same. Is Shy's belly like that?
Or anyone else, are any of your snakes like this?

Can't say I've ever seen anything like that with Shyblue's belly but haven't looked either. I'll watch for it.
I remember someone saying something iridescent scales but I don't think it was belly scales. I'll see if I can find that thread.

Cuitzeos can have an iridescent sheen to their belly scales, they tend to look like oil floating on water.

Snap and Ember had really iredescent bellies. They almost looked like a rainbow in the right lighting.

Thats exactly what it looks like! An oil spot! It's soo pretty. I'm glad I noticed it, and maybe it'll be brighter and prettier after his next shed
