Birth of Thamnophis eques cuitzeoensis this morning.

Good news when I walked into my snake room this morning. My 3 year old female gave birth to 4 young. No still born. They maybe more as she still looks plump. I offered the babies food this afternoon and to fed straight away. Good result and i am glad I waited for a suitable age to breed as all seem healthy. Four days earlier than i predicted. Two of the young have the females temper. :lol2:

Thanks for all the comments. no more this morning so I think that's it. The females a big girl and still looks in good shape after giving birth. Definitley the biggest garter I have kept. Though I did see one of Steven bols lake chapla garters in Hamm last year that was even bigger!
