    Hello

    Hello everybody,

I had an account here years ago, but when my snake at the time died at ~11, I took a break from keeping snakes and stopped visiting the forum. It astonished me how much a little curious snake could wriggle their way into your life; I used to question reptile personality, but their personalities are varied and undeniable, as I'm sure you all know already. I've just acquired a big healthy female from my sister's swampy acreage. She's a great eater and seems to be taking beautifully to captivity. This forum was a great resource to have while I had my last snake, and so I'm back, because it's great to have a knowledgeable community that understands how awesome garter's really are.

    Cheers,
    Hannah

    Nice to have you back.
You might keep in mind that due to the fact your snake came from a swampy area it may have a substantial parasite load. Might be a good idea to get a fecal float done.
    Just an idea.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
