    Help Identify!!

    I had to make a house call tonight to get this little bugger......its just a baby about 10inches and I know its either a Milk Snake or a Rat Snake
    as adults of both have been seen in the area, but this one was in my cousin's house......

    id say its a milksnake, baby black rat snakes look simalar, but i thinks its a milksnake

    Yeh, I'd have to agree with Ben, looks like an Eastern milksnake (L.t.triangulatum)

    I don't know much about them, but do they usually shake there tail is if
    they were a rattler....lol it is very funny to watch.....

    The tail-shaking is a normal behaviour in many Lampropeltis species.
    If the snakes lays in dry leaves it sound like a rattler.

    thats pretty kool, and like I said very funny to watch......

    Yeah I wasn't sure witch it was because there has been other milk snakes
    seen by my cousins house as well as they had a 5 foot black rat snake on there roof and the guy from next door to them killed it but this one was in there house and I know they kinda look alike when there young.....

    I remember the first time I saw the behaviour of the tail shaking... it scared the **** out of me... didn't expect it at all
    But it's quite funny behaviour
