Please don't take this wrong at all..

Since they are new acquisitions, if the viv is secure, the snakes should be left alone to settle in.

Your little snake is hiding because it is nervous from the move.

You will see a lot more of them when they settle

    Cheers

    Been there

My Corn snake who is a master escape artist has taken to burrowing in his substrate a lot, Before I get too carried away I peek all around the glass and can usually see a little orange in there somewhere.

I like transperent water bowls for this reason on certain cage setups, so when they coil up under it I can see them from above

Yep, pretty soon you will figure out all their little hiding spots. My w.c. Olive hides most of the time.
My c.b. baby is usually out cruising around. I haven't moved them in together yet. Still kinda nervous Olive might eat Bob.

Aw, Jade, I've so been there... you just reach that panic level, even though you know they're surely fine My guys have been worrying me because they had taken to hiding under their big rock... I was fairly certain that it was safe, but it still worried me, so today I pulled the big rock out and re-arranged things. They both spent some time checking things out, but Frack is MIA as we speak... Frick is still cruising around, but he usually is... aw, just watched him get a big drink of water... gotta love the silly little beasts!

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

All of my snakes like to burrow under the substrate. I dont worry about it because I think it makes them feel really secure. I know when you first get them though sometimes you worry that they've gotten out and such.
