Maybe they just don't like the color of the nail polish you're wearing.

Btw, how long do they tend to bite for before they decide they can't swallow your fingers? It must vary, but I get the impression that they chow down for a while.
if they're hanging on for a long time you can put a drop of vinigar on your hand so it drips into the snakes mouth, that usually gets them to let go.

Could you use apple cider vinegar? I have lots of pipettes just not regular white vinegar... might help when Hades is thinking he's tough and won't let go for anything.

If they don't like it, it may teach him not to!

True. I do like his attitude, if he ended up being a sweetheart it would ruin the whole Hades name. But, I can't handle being envenomed when he does bite. I can handle dry bites, but sometimes he really sinks his teeth in and then my hand swells up really big and goes numbish with the feeling of needles all over it.

Yeah, I hear ya. Attitude is awesome.

I like my checkereds attitude, and I don't force him to not bite me. I just let him, but at the same time I don't like getting poop flung eberywhere each time, and then having to wash my hands. So I wouldn't mind if he stopped, at least a little bit... But I also dont mind it, he's the only one with attitude, so o can't force either...

    Whatever.
