    Re: Corn on the loose!

i would never use tape, my BP got stuck to a small piece once and i had a hell of a time calming him down to remove it, think a cat with tin foil on its paws. keep up the flower traps.

another thing that might work is one of those minnow traps, the ones with cone shaped ends. i dunno if this will work with a snake but it might be worth a shot

Steve, I have been asked this same question before, So I think I will launch a thread on the site forum instead, that way everyone here who has difficulty can get the idea.

I agree with another of the posts, don't forget to look up! Try putting out a towel or some other type of hiding place, and vacuum your rug. Snakes don't like vibration, and may be encouraged to leave their current hiding place when bothered. Can they get out? Check under rocks!

    Good Luck!

    Re: Corn on the loose!

Well guys, I've seen it all now.

I was down in my basement procrastinating on the computer yesterday and had to print something. When I clicked print, it started to print, but it said the cartridge was jammed. I checked the back and all I saw was a piece of paper, so I pulled it out.
I clicked print again. Still no go. So I called my dad to come and fix the printer, he opened it up, and there was my corn snake wrapped around the toner cartridge, alive and well.

She hasn't lost a lot of weight, she was very thirsty though. I got her to eat 3 pinks today, so I'm confident she'll recover.

So to anyone missing snakes, don't ever give up! :P
