Re: New viv for my corn

    Very nice

Our first ever escape was "CY" the corn snake, he pushed the top open.

Re: New viv for my corn

When I fed my corn snake last night, I noticed he looked cramped (They grow super fast) in his 20 gallon.

So I have been thinking I should build Chomper his big 8 foot cage, and then I can move the BP (Cain) to chompers old box, and that would free up the 55 gallon to move CY into.

After this, I only really want one more "big" snake.

Garters are easy, they stay somewhat small

Re: New viv for my corn

Sorry my photo host is down for another day or two, Chomper is our Savannah Monitor.

A really big lizard or a really small dinosaur

When he reaches maturity he will be quite large, and he needs lots of room to move around and dig tunnels.

His current enclosure is 4 feet wide, and he already takes up quite a bit of the inside.

The enclosure is really nice, so I do want to re-do it for another critter.

Yeah, he is (in a reptilian sort of way)

We were going to get iguanas instead, but Dorothy had a monitor once before (named gasp "Barney") so I got her another.

Chomper (almost the same lines) I named him after the little T-Rex on land before time. "Chomp chomp chomp"

Ok we have "hijacked" this thread

Sorry Marc & Marie...... Chomper is kinda popular here.

That is a great looking corn, how old is it?

We got ours last fall at petco, and he is freaking huge compared to that little pencil lead we brought home that day.
