I spray it off outside with the hose and let it dry. Since it is outdoor carpeting, there is no problem getting it wet. I bought a ton of it from Lowes and just cut it into the right size for each tank. When I am feeling lazy I just use green colored towels. I'll use towels all winter because it will be too cold to be out hosing off carpet

I LOVE the sani-chips, and so do the snakes. But I do not feed on the bottom, I hand feed each one, but then I only have 4, and they come up into the plants or hammock high off the ground. Bite size pieces so they don't get dragged down below.

I tried to put my babies in another tank for their lunch and they ate without problem (and without smallow dish or coco substrate ^^). I have Zoo Med Repti-Bark for my corn snake... so I can try it next time. Maybe it will be better for them!

If you're going to continue to feed them in a separate tank then the coco is fine. I use carefresh, but really do prefer the looks of some of the more natural looking substrates.

Wayne, do you treat the dirt at all? Buy it or dig it up? Curious more than anything...

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
